Nirvana's PLUS Reels – Reduce Waste in Wooden Reels Manufacture

Mumbai (India)– 12th October 2009 – Nirvana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. announces the release of PLUS Reels –Wooden Reels Optimization software, version 1.xx. The software reduces the wastage in the manufacturing of Wooden Reels from wooden slats of various sizes. It calculates the layers required to make the disc depending on the thickness of the disc and the thickness of the stock available. It also determines the dimensions and the shape of strips required to make the layers and consistently generates the optimum layout for cutting the strips to reduce waste.
